Javed Siddiqi, HBSc, MD, DPhil (Oxon), FRCSC, FACS, FAANS, FCNS

Dr. Siddiqi is a board-certified neurosurgeon and is the founding member of ANMG.  He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Western Ontario​, London, ONT.  He completed his doctorate at Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship.  He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Western Ontario, and then went on to complete at skull base and vascular fellowship under Dr. Yasargil at the University of Arkansas Center for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AK.  Aside from past and present departmental chief positions in neurosurgery at our local hospitals, ​he is now Department Chair of Neurosurgery​/Surgery at the newly created California University of Sciences and Medicine Medical School at ARMC.  He is and advisor and specialty expert for the Medical Board of California.  He has been recognized by the San Bernardino County Medical Society with their "Outstanding Contribution to Medicine" award in 2010, as well as the only MD to receive the Presidential Citation from the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and AOA House of Delegates.  He served as the 2020 President of the California Association of Neurological Surgeons (CANS).

Dan Miulli, DO, MS, FACOS

Dr. Miulli is a board-certified neurosurgeon and is the Director of the Neurosurgery Residency Program at RUHS.  He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago, IL.  He completed his surgical internship at Chicago Osteopathic Health System, Chicago, IL, and his neurosurgical residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and was awarded Resident of the Year in 1994.  He then practiced for many years in Minnesota where he helped found the St. Cloud Neurological Institute.  He is a past President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons-Neurosurgical Section, Vice Chairman of ACOS Neurosurgery Disciplinary Residency Review Committee, and Editor of the Journal of American Osteopathic Neurological Surgery.  He is a general neurosurgeon with expertise in skull base and microneurosurgery.

Margaret Wacker, MD, FAANS, FCNS

Dr. Wacker is a board-certified neurosurgeon.  She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA.  She completed her surgical internship at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, and her neurosurgical residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA.   She is a member of the Congress of Neurosurgeons (CNS), and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).

Raed Sweiss, DO, FACOS

Dr. Sweiss is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in skull base/cerebrovascular surgery and neuro-trauma.  He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia, and earned his medical degree from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg, Virginia.  He completed his neurosurgery residency at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.  He completed a fellowship in neuro-trauma and went on to complete a second fellowship in skull base/cerebrovascular surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.  He is currently Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Western University of Health Sciences and California University of Science and Medicine as well as core faculty in the Riverside University Health System Medical Center Neurosurgery Residency Program.  He is a member of the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS), California Association of Neurological Surgeons (CANS), American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and a Deputy Editor of Contemporary Reviews in Neurology and Neurosurgery.

 Anthony Alastra, MD, FAANS, FCNS, FACS, CNSENDORFP

Dr. Alastra is an ABNS board-certified neurological surgeon and ABNS board-certified Focused Practice neuro-interventionalist with specialization in vascular and general neurosurgery, endovascular neurosurgery, minimally-invasive spinal surgery, and surgical management of chronic pain.  He is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, Case Western University Medical School, Cleveland, OH, and trained in neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.  He completed his neuro-interventional fellowship training from New York University Medical Center, New York, NY.  He has held positions of Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Department of Neurosurgery at both New York University School of Medicine Langone Medical Center, New York, NY, and College of Medicine, State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.  Dr. Alastra is Associate Program Director for the Neurosurgery Residency Program at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), Neurosurgery Section Chief at Desert Regional Medical Center (DRMC), and Medical Director of Neurosurgery and Neurointerventional Radiology at Eisenhower Medical Center (EMC).  He is the Neurointervenional Enterprise Director for ANMG.  He is a member and Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgery (AANS) and American College of Surgery (ACS), member of the Congress of Neurological Surgery (CNS), Society for NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS), North American Spine Society (NASS), and California Association of Neurosurgery (CANS) among others.

Emilio Tayag, MD, FAANS, FCNS, FAAN

Dr. Tayag is a board-certified neurosurgeon, neurologist, and neurointerventionalist.  He obtained his medical degree from the University of the East College of Medicine, Quezon City, Phillipines, and completed his internship at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, New Rochelle, NY.  He completed his neurology residency at The ​University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, and his neurosurgery residency at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.  He completed his neurointerventional fellowship at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, CA.  He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgery (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgery (CNS), and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Michael Schiraldi, MD, PhD

Dr. Schiraldi is a board-eligible neurosurgeon with interests in general and endovascular neurosurgery.  A graduate of Fordham University, New York City,NY, and Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia, PA, he completed his neurosurgery residency and endovascular fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.  As a surgeon-scientist, Dr. Schiraldi was involved in initial trials of extracranial-intracranial bypass for stroke prevention.  He has unique interest and training in operative treatments for headaches caused by spontaneous intracranial hypotension or CSF leak, as well as training in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, and vascular malformations of the brain and spine.

Jason Duong, DO, FACS

Dr. Duong is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in cranial and complex spinal oncology.  He is a graduate from University of California, San Diego and received his medical degree at Touro University in California. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley, California and completed a fellowship at City of Hope in Duarte, California in neurosurgery and neuro-oncology with nationally recognized experts and advanced clinical trials.  He is a member of the Society of Neuro-oncology (SNO), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS), American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).

Rajan Chopra, MD

Natasha Stephanie Plantak, PA-C, MPH

Natasha Plantak is a board certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds her PA-C license through the state of California Physician Assistant Board. She has a rich and diverse background, which reflects her multifaceted interests and passions. She initially worked as an art curator and an archeological excavationist, but found that her true passion lies in healthcare. She then obtained her graduate degrees (Master of Public Health and Master of Physician Assistant Sciences) at Loma Linda University. She trained at Johns Hopkins University, where she completed a clinical fellowship in hospital medicine. She has experience in inpatient internal medicine, hospital medicine, and cardiopulmonary critical care. She holds active memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), and Neurocritical Care Society (NCS). She is very excited to be a part of the ANMG team and is passionate about providing whole person compassionate care.

Natalie Hagan is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She earned her master’s degree through Maryville University- St. Louis. Her eight years of nursing experience helped her gain insight into caring for patients suffering from chronic neurological conditions, including hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke, seizures, and tumor resections. She has worked with many of the members of the ANMG team while working in the critical care unit and is happy to be joining the team as a fellow provider.
